Due to hanging out with skaters and not being a skater myself, I would record skate sessions and random moments with my phone cause I wouldn't have anything better to do while with them. A month ago, I scrolled trough the whole gallery and realised I have a lot of short clips after following my skater friends around for 10 years. I decided to make compilation of 4 videos as a type of a diary so that those memories don't get lost. Throughout the whole compilation I wanted to use minimal editing and keep clips as raw as possible. That created an interesting challenge for storytelling because of a limited number of recordings, especially with older sessions. Trough playing with rhythm, music, and time manipulation, I tried to overcome that challenge and make them dance.

Zagreb is made from some clips of cruising around Zagreb and testing Tonko’s new roller skates before going to Belgrade 6 years ago.

Rampa follows the construction and journey of th skate ramp to its final destination at the Golopičica beach in Vodice. Skate ramp was constructed by members and friends of Bokon Youth Association to provide a spot for skaters to enjoy while they await the construction of the skate park.

Every summer as a part of the Kanal fest at Martinska, Bokon Youth association creates a hip-hop stage with a small skatepark open for everyone. This short video is created on the second day of this years Kanal fest.
